OSRAM developed these bulbs with a few things in mind - brightness and style.

They look the part. These side lights compliment the OSRAM COOL BLUE BOOST Headlights when paired together.
Advantages: They look bright & white
Disadvantages: IMO original yellow side lights give out more light than these ones.

Advantages: Light looks a lot closer to white without needing to replace my reflectors with projectors for LED lights, brightness is noticeably improved on unlit back roads
Disadvantages: Lifespan is apparently less than standard halogen colour temps but Ill take the hit for the upgrade

Bought these Osrams to replace a set of Philips White Vision (where one had blown after 4 1/2 years) and have to say they are whiter than the White Visions and do appear to be brighter too.
They have only been in the car a couple of weeks, so cannot comment on longevity, but my initial thoughts are that they are better than the philips White Vision, which were up until now the best element 501 (W5W) bulbs I have used.
Advantages: Very Bright with the whitest light I have seen for a normal element bulb.
Disadvantages: None so far.

Disadvantages: I purchased these for an MOT unfortunately they took over 2-weeks to get here due to using Evri Couriers, so I had to buy a cheaper alternative from Halfords for the MOT.

These bulbs aren't Xenon, they are just brighter than halogens. Quite disappointed in light colour output. One is better off buying LED bulbs if you require white light output.
