Advantages: Pure white, brighter light
Disadvantages: Not Canbus compliant but in fairness doesn't claim that it is! Faulty bulb warning light does come on when using as sidelight

So have used as front side lights. These fit into the headlamp assembly and the effect due to the large headlamp gives a good forward white light. Vehicle not fitted with DRL so using these.
Advantages: Like all small sidelights this is not so good in bright daylight but as soon as the light dims a bit these come into there own.
Disadvantages: None at present.

Not particularly bright, comparable to standard 5W filament 501's. Create a canbus error on our Peugeot 207 and flicker when not switched on
Advantages: Won't blow as quick as standard bulbs, I hope! Nice white colour

Purchased to replace a failing LED W5W sidelight bulb by another manufacturer (not supplied by ABD) on my wife's 28yr-old Mercedes E-class. This product is perfect - as one would expect from OSRAM. Thanks guys!
Advantages: Both our cars are older vehicles and I've run LED sidelights (and other filaments) for a few years now. I will never return to tungsten filaments again unless they are the only option left to me. LED's in any external lighting on any vehicle are a massive increase in personal safety.
Disadvantages: ENSURE your LED's are CanBus compatible otherwise there are no disadvantages!

Didn't work.Fitted LEDS and it Flashed And came on For 6 seconds Then went out. It's did it every time I turned the ignition on. Had to reorder a different brand. So I can't really Comment That much. My car was an Audi A3.

Our Reply: That is a canbus compatibility issue. These bulbs are not canbus compatible and would need a canbus resistor to be used to resolve issues like this. We do have other bulbs available that are canbus compatible.

Good white light, bright, unfortunately they set off the warning for broken bulb. I could have lived with that but Z4 turns the front indicators on to compensate,

A bit disapointed with these bulds used for interior lights. but one started to flash and glow when switched off the other was in the back of my van which seemed fine. Not as bright as expected. I swapped them out and used them for the rear number plate and they seem fine in this location

Great sidelight. You don't get any of the flicker, or the bright centre point of light with nothing useable which you get with other LED bulbs.
