How Does It Work?

How To Apply
Simply spray onto a Microfibre cloth and wipe all over the desired surface. Then, leave to dry for 5 minutes and buff the residue off with a clean cloth.

Had to replace all the wipers so bought a full set and these cleaners to do the full job. Gave the screens a thorough clean and then a final spray with the sealer. Seemed to be successful as screens covered in droplets after overnight rain, easy wiped off. Not yet been travelling in the rain so have that experience to look forward to.
Advantages: Easy to use and see a good result afterwards.
Disadvantages: None that I am aware of yet.

Not for me wish I hadn't purchased
Advantages: Repells/beads water on your windscreen
Disadvantages: Very temporary mist effect with wiper action. Visible for only a second but not good to put up with especially at night. Very difficult to remove once applied (vinegar/water/Dishwasher fluid) so you need to be sure you like this product. I didn't but some really do it seems.
Our Reply: This is common with all glass sealants on first application due to how the silicone "seals" the bumps and dip in the screen and doesn't achieve a totally even application first time. The solution is simply to apply a second application which should smooth it over nicely and stop the misting.

Advantages: Works extremely well, rain beads and just runs off the screen…..30 mph and above and wipers are not a necessity.
Disadvantages: Make sure you polish off well.

Advantages: Excellent rain dispersal once treated to the windscreen and tailgate
Disadvantages: The spray handle on both bottles supplied do not work and were jammed. This is a bad design and the only way I could use the product was to empty another household spray bottle and use that or apply it by cloth which is not acceptable.

Excellent product, wipers are more efficiant, wipers work better. Even my wife asked if I had changed the wiper blades becasue the winddscreen was "different"
Advantages: Wipers work better, rain just runs off, easier to clean bugs off.
Disadvantages: No spray supplied, had to pour on with a lint free cloth, quite wasteful

This stuff is awful.
Thoroughly cleaned the screen and finished off with meths to ensure absolutely no trace of dirt or traffic grime remained. Applied this stuff, following instructions meticulously, Now after several 5 weeks all I have is smears that are slow to clear.
Cannot wait for this stuff to go off or wear out and then I will again change the blades.
Advantages: It was a freebie
Disadvantages: See above.
I shall go back to RainX
Our Reply: It is possible after the first application that some hazing can occur (it happens with all rain repellents). Simply applying a second coating should eliminate this.

Great stuff, Rocket Butter Rain Rebel Hydro Seal 250ml, used as instructions, also purchased the Rocket Butter Rain Rebel Glass Cleaner Spray 500ml at same time, definitely gives excellent results, especially on motorways when raining, water beads up the windscreen, less wiper action, thought the small bottle would run out quickly, they don't as you barely use much for whole car, will buy again 10/10

It does what is meant to do,and even if it is a relatively small bottle,it should last for a couple of years,yes,it's that efficient.
One thing though,if you live in a crappy polluted town,the rain drops that are drying on the glass will leave behind a small white mark,but that is no one's fault.
