Product exactly as stated the white inside is the ceramic and is protected by palstic outer sheath to prevent the ceramic chipping. Quality is excellent. I struggled to find one of these holders and others in nylon were more expensive, this is a superior product to the nylon types.

The only point I'd make is the wires, although good quality, are merely tails so require either some type of connector or slodering to a loom. This was as described so not a problem

Very nice quality, I shall remember these for future use.
