I could not believe that Bi Xenon bulbs were available at such a good price compared to main dealers or after market car spare sites. The savings were massive and priced down closer to halogen prices which is a pleasant relief in rip-off Britain.

Great bulbs, super ice white and a lot brighter / further range than the Phillips XenStart they replaced. I do however believe the XenStart had a more blue tint to them even though the same 4300 temp. Had to replace both as one bulb failed, headlights are like factory new now.
This is BMW e92 LCI, wheels off, inner arches undone and bent back you can get to bulbs easily 30 minutes a side. Don't pay the £800+ BMW will quote you!

Disadvantages: I'm sure the standard Phillips XenStart that came with the car had a more bluish tint even though same temp, I might be wrong though.
Our Reply: Xenon HID bulbs such as the D1S will colour shift over time. This causes older bulbs to develop the blue tint which isn't there with a new bulb. Over time you will see these Osram bulbs develop a similar blue tint to the Philips ones you previously had.
