Does the job it is designed to do and importantly is the correct colour temperature (4300K) for my car - may others around that are cheaper but are not the correct colour (generally 4100K). which would give less visibility and look wrong from both the oncoming and drivers view.
Advantages: well packaged and bulb section is protected from accidental touch by cardboard

Disadvantages: Difficult to fit, but that is not because of the bulb, it is the car manufacturer. The bulb could be easier to fit but the manufacturer has made it a herculean task.

I purchased a pair of bulbs to replace the 10.5 old ones as one had ‘gone’. Fitted new bulb and still didn’t work as the ballast was full of water. Now sorted a new bulbs are lovely - a don’t notice old ones getting soft in their old age but the replacements cast them into the shadows!

Took a bit of a gamble when I ordered this as I knew the lamp removal was a pig of a job to change on my car. It paid off and the bulb is a direct replacement for the standard OEM Philips that was in there.
Advantages: Cheaper than original.
Part has a 4 yr warranty
CAN bus compatible
Disadvantages: None
But you need to know that the colour bulb your taking out is the same one your replacing or you could end up with odd lights unless you're changing both.

These were the same as the originals fitted to my Golf so no problems at all. ABD were very helpful when I ordered them and the bulbs arrived the next morning, great service!
Advantages: I chose these as they were oem and had a 4 year guarantee. Osram do a set with a 10 year guarantee for £20 each extra which is better value but I doubt I'll keep the car long enough to make them worthwhile.

Excellent bulb. Fit perfectly into my Audi A4 S Line 2009. The actual bulb that came out which seems to be the factory fitted bulb is a Philips but this works just as good.
