H7 Twenty20 Projector LED Headlight Bulbs (Pair)

These have transformed night time driving in my Gullietta

These are mega bright.

Advantages: Bright and a brilliant white light. You can see a lot more Road compared to how it was before.

Disadvantages: Tricky to fit as there is limited space for the connection and ballast circuitry. Highly depends on your car, space and access. For a 2014 Audi A6 Avant, it’s limited.

One major pint to note as there’s nothing in the way of instructions to fit them, Which way up the bulbs go is not provided as there are two LEDs in a triangular arrangement. I’m assuming that the faces containing the LEDs face down but this causes the cables to press up against the light housing.

No CANbus errors on the dash but the computer does log an electrical fault on my car when checking with an OBD cable. May require a parallel resistor to be fitted.

Great headlights such an improvement on what i had before., my brother was very impressed with them. I didn't fit them myself but were no issues in doing so. Great service , i needed to add to my order i just rang up and the lady sorted out my request very quickly and my items arrived quickly. I have just purchased some more bulbs for the car from you. Fitted these to my Mercedes S204 with projector lenses. Very easy to fit, but with the fan on the back I was concerned about it being a bit too tight with the plastic covers that are on the standard lights. It wasn't a problem though and everything fitted in fine. I do regularly check the cover and the temperature after they have been on for a long journey and everything seems fine.

When you are fitting these, you need to remove the fitting ring from the bulb and instal that using the existing spring clip on the light. Then push the remainder of the bulb in through the fitting ring with the bottom of the V shape on the LEDs at the bottom. Only takes about 5 minutes once you get the technique. Then connect the wire up and put the box and cable in safely and pop the rear cover back on.

Instantly saw a difference with these lights. Much brighter than before (it was difficult driving at night and caused a lot of eye strain) and don't dazzle anyone like a lot of new cars with LEDs fitted as standard.

Advantages: Bright, easy to fit, look good, don't dazzle other drivers. Would definitely buy again, but I'm hoping that they last for ages so I don't have to, which is more than I could say about standard bulbs. Not sure if it was my car but the standard bulbs would blow with regular monotony.

Disadvantages: The boxes and cables on the back of the bulbs are quite bulky and the fan adds quite a bit of length to the back of the bulb as well so make sure you have the room to fit it all in. It wasn't a problem for me on this car, but you do need to check on your specific vehicle.

I’ll be honest was dubious these led bulbs were going to improve the light from Osram night breakers, especially in the older style headlights. With a test fit it was discovered that adapters required. Once fitted, bulbs oriented ok, light was checked, in the dark the light pool was brighter crisper blue/ white the light pool was marginally longer, but showed much wider. Whilst driving in dark conditions the light was marginally better for distance out front. The wider pool gave better confidence seeing grass verges, white lines. Cats eyes into the distance much better road signs illuminated much better.

Advantages: The crisp blue white light, look much nicer. Brings an older classic to a modern look. The wider light pool out front better visibility of road edges / grass verges and white lines in road middle. Brighter light on road signs is good your not left until close to see directions. Light cuts stronger through murky rainy conditions better.

Disadvantages: The obvious one cost. Are they worth the extra money. Honestly. No. The light given and what advantages gained, I wouldn’t declare the additional cost reflects the gain in light. Based on 3x the cost, they’re not 3x better. I’m not going to rush to purchase the led bulbs to go alongside on high beam. Cost v benefit. Maybe time and use will change my mind.

Work really well on a Mondeo Mk4 projector headlights. Fitted with the leds up, these produce a really clean bright white light. Much better than the existing halogens.

Advantages: Bright, easy to fit.

Disadvantages: Item isn't branded, and doesn't have the twenty20 logos on like the sales photo, but then you realise ABD make them!

The lights are great, Just like daylight but at night
Not easy to fit for me as my VW polo bulbs were not fitted by spring clips, so involved glueing the light holding rings in the existing holders. Easy to fit after that. Well worth the effort can recommend to all.

Advantages: Driving at night now No problem
Absolutely brilliant

Disadvantages: Not easy to fit if existing lights not held in with spring clips.

Lasted 17 months

Advantages: Reasonable performance, compared to standard halogen bulbs

Our Reply: Sorry to hear you had a failure, that is very rare on these bulbs. However that is why we offer a 3 year warranty on these and we have arranged a replacement at no cost to you.

So, I had previously bought LED H7 bulbs from a well known website and whilst they worked they did not produce a sensible beam pattern for projector dipped beam headlights. ABD who I have used before seemed to offer the solution albeit at a significantly higher price, but you get what you pay for as they say! I was advised over the phone that upon installing, the bulbs should be fitted V down, as the end piece if not flat but triangular with the LEDs on 2 sides. Installing on an Audi TT is simple once you remove the whole headlight unit (three holding screws) and the polarity seemed to work first time so no switching the power connection. Upon test in the dark, the light pattern was very lateral and not providing sufficient throw so there was going to be further adjustment needed. Phone advice from ABD suggested rotating the bulbs until the right beam pattern emerged. Car manufacturers projector lenses are not all the same!!! So I removed the headlight units again and because the bulbs have a securing ring incorporated into them through which the actual bulb can be twisted; (install the ring, then lock with the usual securing wire before pressing the bulb through the centre) I rotated the bulbs 180 degrees so the V faced up. Testing produced an enormous improvement and I have not needed to do anything else. I can now see for Blooming miles!! Still a wide beam throw but also depth to about 30-40 m out front which is safe for dipped beam driving and SO MUCH WHITE LIGHT. Good top cut off still there and to date no-one has flashed me due to over-brightness.

Advantages: Once adjusted correctly these bulbs really deliver and no Canbus errors either, so very pleased with my purchase

Disadvantages: None really. Only wish I'd gone to ABD first, but then they were not selling these type of bulbs a few years ago!

Fantastic lights really do work well with my depo projectors great light output compared to my original halogen lights with a nice crisp white colour. Easy to install with plenty of clearance in the headlight unit.

Disadvantages: My only problem with the lights is there are no instructions so it’s a little fiddly to figure out what orientation the lights need to be put in the car to get the right beam pattern, otherwise I can’t fault them.

These bulbs are designed for projector headlights and do what they say on the tin.
Beam pattern is nice and even with a bright white light and no shadows in front of the car what so ever. Have them fitted on my BMW 116d f20. Well worth the money in my opinion.

Advantages: Nice bright white light, even beam pattern with no dark shadows. Easy to install.

Use these in my Audi a4 b6 main beam and I have no complaints about the quality

Advantages: Good light output, easy of fitment, error free, bright white light


Disadvantages: Was hesitant about the price, but you pay for the quality

Previously fitted aftermarket HIDs which improved the dipped beam headlight, but left dark patches on the road. After taking advise from Alice, bought a pair.

Advantages: Further improvement on the HIDs, but beam was more focused and sharp. Very noticeable on the closed.garage door. Small module ensured I could fit the headlight end cap which I could not with the HIDs. Also lit up straight away when frosty, this would make the HIDs flicker until they had warmed up. Did not upset the canbus, so no warning on the dash.

Disadvantages: None at all.

These look well-made and certainly give out a lot of light. Although the shutter in my projectors gives a defined cut-off and I have set them below dazzle height for on-coming traffic, they still look very bright on a dark road and might worry drivers with poor night vision. Almost too much of a good thing maybe.
There really should be some installation instructions - that's why only 4 stars. The bulbs rotate in their holders (removable for clipping into the housing) and I decided (after researching projector headlight design) that that they should sit with the LEDs uppermost on top. With my car (Ford Mondeo MK 5) changing the bulbs is a major job anyway, and I couldn't access the bulbs with the headlight units in place to rotate them again afterwards, so it had to be right first time. I think I was right, but I could have used some help here.

Advantages: Very bright white light with a good spread on the ground (dipped).

Disadvantages: No fitting guidance for the bulbs which are not the same symmetric design as most other LED headlight bulbs.

Advantages: More light on road, thoroughly modern appearance.

Disadvantages: Fitting was a hassle until I removed the H7 backing plate, placed that in the bulb holder and then carefully slid the main LED bulb unit through this and into place, once fathomed out both sides fitted in under 5 minutes to a W204 Mercedes C Class.

Possibly the only LED bulbs to fit a Volvo S40/V50/C30 headlamp unit as space is so limited inside it. Beam pattern is excellent and no errors on the dash at all. They don't seem to heat up massively either. Overall, very pleased.

Advantages: Rotate to fit, removal collar, really compact, low heat, decent white light output, no errors.

Disadvantages: Could do with some sort of fitting guidance for correct rotation. None supplied.

Great set of LEDs, easy to install in my Volvo C30, and very easy to adjust the beam pattern too. Took all of 5 minutes to install them both. The only ones I’ve found that fit in the headlight housing and still allow for the fitting of the cap on the headlight housing too.

Advantages: Easy to fit, easy to adjust beam pattern. It already has the ballast on it and is CANBus error free.

Disadvantages: I’ve not seen any disadvantages to them at all.

very pleased with this product, good quality, very good service and advice on fitting from abd , word of advice if fitting yourself all ways put cloth or tissue below where your working so that if you drop anything it doesnt fall into bottom of engine bay, if you want quality and proper warranty then use abd, be aware there are a lot of inferior bulbs on the market

Bought these to replace the halogen night breakers on my mk2 facelift Octavia. First thing to note is separate adapters are needed to fit my headlamps which I was aware of so no issue. Light output is much better. Range is a lot wider and further with an even light. Checked with a headlight aim tester and the cut off is perfect. Definitely worth the upgrade.

Advantages: Further + wider light throw
Beam cut off is same as standard halogens

Disadvantages: Not really a disadvantage with the bulb, just required separate adapters for my headlamp setup.

Best led I have used as a h7 easy to fit and great light
So in my opinion pay a little bit extra and you get great results

Really difficult to fit into my Mercedes!!! At least by me! no directions no clips sent originally and now going to have ABD fit them Tuesday 3rd sept not a good experience but hopeful that they can fit them

Purchased this led bulbs for my 2017 Hyundai Tucson Projector dip beam headlights . At first I was very sceptical about this led bulbs,as I have tried so many bad ones, but i'm very impressed ,they have the best pattern, distance width and brightness that I have seen,I would recommend them for any one looking for an extremely good light , the only problem that I had was fitting them to my headlights, as my headlights have a very weird fitting ( and needed bulb holders )

Advantages: Proper pattern , very good white light, very good distance, very good width.

Disadvantages: None.
