Most modern cars today use a system to continuously detect faults – known as CAN-Bus. These bulbs are CAN-Bus enabled and will eliminate those annoying warning lights when your car thinks it has a faulty bulb.
Cree is the Rolls Royce of LED technology, recognised the world over. Most major manufacturers of LED products use Cree LEDs. This particular bulb uses 6 Cree LEDs and is rated at 6000K giving off a 360 degree crisp cool white light.
Although your vehicle battery is used for all the electrics any saving in power has to be a good thing. These bulbs will give a greater light output (750 Lumens) than the standard bulb (300-400 Lumens) but uses much less power - a win win!
One of the many advantages with LED bulbs over the standard is the length of time they will last. LED bulbs will significantly outperform standard replacement bulbs and should give 4000 hours or more of trouble free use. Easy to fit and give more light than the oem headlight and no errors. Not a cheap item but the cheaper offering threw uo error lights which these did not. Also service from ABD was really very good. so very pleased at the huge improvement of the stock fog lights. Can I advise that almost always the manufacturers fail to adjust fog lights properly so make sure you do that while changing the bulbs.

Beautifully bright 6000k H8 LED Fog Lamps for my e39 2003, should have made the transition a long time ago. And now I need to upgrade my halo's as well. I already have ABD'S MK1 5000k version since 2018 and am still going strong, but I now need a 6000k MK2 halo's to complete the modern look. Are your engineers working on this already? lol If so, give us a shout please, would love to purchase a new pair from a trustworthy company like yourself.
Advantages: Bright 6000k lamps gives my old e39 2003 motor a modern look now. As well as the safety aspect, most importantly+ long guaranty.

I ordered these LED H8 lamps to replace the standard halogen front fog lights on my Mk3 Skoda Superb.
The lamps arrived promptly and were well packaged.
Advantages: 1) Lamps look high quality, well made and are easy to fit as direct replacements for the standard halogen lamps.
2) Canbus protection works fine with no annoying lamp failure warnings.
3) Extremely bright white light now matches headlights and daytime running lights.
Disadvantages: 1) Fog light beam pattern not as well defined as with standard halogen lamps.
2) I've not yet had an opportunity to try out the new LED lamps in foggy conditions.
I suspect the less well-defined beam pattern might result in a higher level of back glare. I'll update with my findings in due course.

Firstly a caveat, the fog-light bulbs, in this case the H8 Twenty20 Cree LED 12V Canbus bulbs, do not fit the Nissan Leaf, in this case 24 KW 2014 model, fog light unit without modification to the unit reflector itself. The original Nissan fitted bulb is a 16 mm diameter unit, whereas the H8 Twenty20 LED bulb is an 18 mm diameter unit meaning you need to dremel the lens reflector aperture wider to fit them., It sounds difficult but in reality it only took me 10 minutes to complete. Now the good stuff, fantastically bright, really clear blue white light which really improves the look of the car over the standard bulbs and the unit feel excellent quality so very happy with the purchase and the service from ABD.
Advantages: Fantastically bright, really clear blue white light which looks brilliant on the car, coupled with excellent build quality on these units so I'm confident they'll last and perform well.
Disadvantages: Fog light unit requires minor modification
Our Reply: It is rare that the aperture needs to be widened, but these are a bit wider than the original bulb. Therefore it can happen in some cases that slight widening of the aperture needs to be done to make them fit.

Advantages: Much brighter and obviously whiter than halogens - not too bright or glaring. No CANBUS errors / warning. Not had any fog to try yet. Work fine in static corner function. Very pleased with upgrade and at just over £20 for the pair well worth the punt ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Easy replacement. Similar brightness to the halogens they replaced, but these have a modern, white appearance. I used them in my fog lights to use them as Day Running Lights. The fog lights have shields that covers the end 2 leds, so would be brighter if these 2 were visible.

Good value (bought pair), delivered in 4 working days. Recommended and an absolute bargain but beware you will need to live with warning light on BMW.
Advantages: Simple plug n fit to BMW 635 (E63). Took 10 minutes and far brighter than standard bulb. Modernises the look and significantly better day time running angel eyes for less than £20 for the pair!
Disadvantages: Did cause a warning light on dash that I can't get rid of. Was aware this might have been the case (different power consumption can cause errors for computer) so I am just living with the warning light everytime I turn on ignition, because the lights look that good.
Our Reply: Unfortunately there are still some cars that these don't clear the warning light on. In this case you can fit an external resistor or upgrade to the H8 Twenty20 Compact bulbs which are compatible with more cars.
