Advantages: Simple to fit and a direct replacement

Disadvantages: Not as bright as I was expecting .Philips say they are 150%brighter well I doubt that however they are better than previous bulbs but not 150%.
This is down to Philips and not ABD

Only had these bulbs for a short while and only been out in the dark once but they have a superior light brightness and range compared to the original HIR2 bulbs

Advantages: Te main advantage with these new bulbs is the safety aspect as everything is better illuminated

Disadvantages: None found so far.

Wife was fed up with driving on original rubbish bulbs. Fitted these direct replacements within five minutes and what a difference they make.
I thought these were expensive bulbs but seeing the extra light they produce they offer reasonable value.

Advantages: Better illumination on country lanes

Disadvantages: Paying customs because we live in the EU.

Simply fitted. Appreciate the HIR2 is not one of the more usual fitments but they were expensive
compared to common H3/4/7s etc..
.

Advantages: Do not appear much whiter than original halogens but benefit is that they 'light up ' a noticeably longer,greater area ahead.
They come with a Phillips gaurantee but hopefully they will last a sensible timeline

Disadvantages: Expense - but maybe worth it in better vision.
