The excellent Apollo Daytime Running Lights are fitted with the most powerful and effective single LEDs available. The DRL lights have a built-in automatic switching unit which allows the lights to be illuminated as soon as the engine is switched on, once the sidelights become active the LED lights will reduce in brightness to create a night-styling function. The light produced improves vehicle visibility and significantly reduces the risk of accidents during daylight hours.

According to the Institute for Road Safety Research crash studies have shown that not having seen the other road user plays a role in some 50% of daytime crashes. Furthermore the Day Light Running Lamp will contrast the car from its surroundings making it more visible.
