The Perfect Number Plate Sizes
The three main number plate sizes available for print are:
Standard (20.5" x 4.4")
Oversized (21" x 6")
Motorbike (9" x 7")
4x4 (11" x 8")
Please note, this is only for road legal number plate printing.
4D Number Plate Printing
Give your number plate that extra touch and upgrade to 4D lettering.
This gives your number plate a stronger, cleaner and more unique look which is certain to gain positive comments.
Please Remember:
4D lettering is only possible for a maximum of 9 Characters or 8 if you have a badge.
4D is NOT suitable for Motorbike (9"x 7") and 4x4 (11" x 8") type plates due to sizing of fonts.
An Extensive Range Of Road Legal Choices Available
Due to recent changes we're no longer allowed to print number plates with unique badges, borders (other than black) and your plate must have the standard font set out by the DVLA.
This does not mean that you are without choices however. You can still choose road legal badges and have 4D lettering on the plate.
How To Order Your Number Plate
To order a new number plate, simply enter the registration of your vehicle, select your options and head to the checkout page.
If your order is placed before 2pm (working day) and we receive your documents then your number plate will be dispatched that same day.
Your number plates can come with fixing kits or sticky pads allowing you to stick them to the vehicle with ease.
Please Remember
Number plates being printed must conform to DVLA standards.
Keep letter spacing to the legal requirements unless you require a show plate.
Please see the following examples:
VN 15 D DU - This resembles a real number plate - regardless of the spacing but will not be printed.
ABD CO UK - This does not follow any UK number plate format and is classed as a show plate
In this example, both are genuine VRN's with non-road legal spacing.
This means that they cannot be printed until the spacing conforms to DVLA standards.
This example shows exactly how road legal lettering should and will be printed.
These guidelines also include previous versions of UK number plates such as suffix and prefix style plates.
Legal Requirements
Please note that for road legal number plate printing, each number plate is required by DVLA to have the following information printed on the plate:
Company Name
Company Postcode
British Standard Number
Company name and postcode are those of the company that printed the plates.
Important
If ordering a plate for road use, we need to see your proof of vehicle ownership (e.g. V5C) and proof of identity (e.g. drivers license). We can also only ship the plates to the cars registered address. After placing the order, we will contact via email with instructions on how to send us the relevant documents. Please ensure you keep an eye on your inbox and spam folders. If nothing has arrived within 2 hours of placing your order, please let us know.

Happy with the product, timing etc. Just that after ordering I received an email telling me of ID docs I had to upload to prove I was car owner (no mention prior). After I uploaded I got no notification that all was in process, so was left assuming/hoping.
That said, the plates were very good, arrived within the stated time. Adhesive was very good quality - and I've used a few that were not!
Advantages: Great if you're not without plates, and I'm sure it's a cheaper option
Disadvantages: Obviously takes a few days, as opposed to buying local.

Ordered front and back number plates during morning 26 January and gave photographs of documents as asked to do. ABD e mailed same day to say plates being sent out. Yodel delivered them on 27 January before noon. Couldn’t ask for better service at a decent price. Will definitely use again in future.
