H7/H18 Philips Ultinon Access LED Headlight Bulbs (Pair)

I purchased two sets of H7 LED bulbs from this company as a gift for my boyfriend.
Upon opening the parcel that arrived in the post in well packaged condition, I opened it to find one set of headlights as they should be, new sealed and unused condition. The other set arrived ripped open and had clearly been used/badly tampered with. I emailed the company explaining the situation attaching photos of what I recieved, awaiting a professional response to resolve this issue in a timely matter.
Two days later without response to my emails, we then called this diabolical excuse for a company explaining the situation again to them. I was immediately greeted by an uncooperative/abrupt bordering on absolute ignorant female of staff, who was completely uncaring about the issue and just kept repeating the same thing "these bulbs are in new condition" when clearly I have photos that prove otherwise. She kept trying to speak loudly over me as I was trying to state that they were not in new unused condition and again had clearly been tampered with prior to being sent to me. A complete lack of customer service in trying to resolve the issue at this early stage. I explained to her that I had sent emails prior, which included photos of the damaged item. She stated she had not recieved them.

Not getting anywhere a second phone call was made the following day, hoping to speak to a different member of staff. I again was met by this same abrupt and outright rude customer service representative... again she tried to state the same thing, that these bulbs were in new condition. I had asked her how she knew that, since the packaging was ripped to pieces? Without apparently seeing any photos of damage? I had asked her was this a regular occurance with this company. She continued to ignore me in an arbrupt unhelpful manner. She had then asked for photos of the damage, which I had stated AGAIN that I had already emailed them and told her of this prior. She then tried to tell me that they recieved no emails, so while on the phone to her I re-sent the pictures of the damaged item i recieved, stating that I had screenshotted proof of all emails/times in which they had been sent for proof. She then quickly put me on hold without notice and approx 10 minites later stated she she only just recieved the email.
She had then stated for us to return the item for a refund which could take several days. Upon explaining that this would take too long as the car was due for mot, we were THEN informed that these bulbs aren't even road legal, it stated this nowhere in the description which read "these bulbs match the brightness of standard halogen bulbs while consuming less energy but enhance on-road visibility for drivers". Upon going into the fine print where this company unassumably states that they are not even road legal bulbs.

My boyfriend spoke to them twice also, stating that he was a parts dealer and sold bulbs in the past and knows what way they should be packaged. He didn't ask for bulbs out of a clearance bin, which is all these are good for but this is what we got.

Diabolical experience with these people. AVOID and do not waste your time.

Easy to fit if you have a little car knowledge and tools, good light .
Make sure you have the lamps horizontal to the lamp or they won’t work

The Philips Ultinon access H7 bulb gives good light on a MK6 VW Golf but still activates the dashboard bulb failure warning light. It is not possible to connect the Philips resistor which prevents this due to way that bulbs are held in in Golf with no connects to connect it to

Advantages: Brighter

Disadvantages: Still shows bulb out warning on dash

Brill bulbs and so bright, direct replacement no error codes although you do get a little buzzing sound if you get out while they have been on for a while

Advantages: Great ordering process and quick delivery.
Bulbs are a known brand and direct fitment and have worked with no problems or complaints

Disadvantages: Just the buzzing I have already mentioned, not sure if it’s a thing with LED bulbs and we’ll see if the last better than the originals and alternatives. But so far very happy with these LED bulbs

Absolutely brilliant bulbs. It was such an easy conversion to do and I had zero issues with converting my headlamps. No error codes, no warning lights, nothing! The additional light spread/beam is so much more safer at night and even gives a modern, stylish look to your vehicle. I'm positive there is no additional glare as I have tried and tested thoroughly and I'm happy with the performance. (In Projectors and Reflectors). Installation is very simple and quick too!

(Many vehicles with Halogen bulbs from factory should include instructions on how to change headlight bulbs in the vehicle's handbook/manual due to some laws in the EU, installation for these bulbs will follow this guide.)

Advantages: - Bright, stylish light.
- Perfect beam pattern - IF installed correctly.
- Literally plug and play!
- Projector and Reflector Compatibility.

Disadvantages: - 'Officially' Illegal on UK roads due to MOT failure. - For "off-road use only"
- May throw up error codes on other vehicles but quite unlikely.

Outstanding bulbs best suited to focus lens
As with reflective mirror I’m getting double pattern
Other wise pattern is good and not spilling everywhere

Advantages: Brighter clear good colour in lit roads and very dark road visibly is excellent

Disadvantages: Not a strong focus with reflective type headlights

Affordable replacement for halogen headlights.

Advantages: Gives very bright white light.
Direct replacement of halogen bulb. No need for additional parts.

Disadvantages: None
