Decent light output but nothing much different to standard H7. However, the light is a big crisper and ban pattern is OK. Quite a chunky driver and fan on the end and will definitely not fit all vehicles. Expensive and I expected a decent increase in lumen output. That being said, I might use them also on H1 on the main beam if they're discounted enough. I'm not paying full RRP. They're not worth it.

Advantages: Long life.

Disadvantages: Price
Bulky fitment for some.

If I am honest I am a bit disappointed at the light output as fitted to the projector dipped beams of my W204 mercedes. There is the usual black area directly in front of the car you get with LEDs in projector lenses which I can live with but the total output is not as good as I expected. I must add these bulbs are replacing the ABD LED projector bulbs which I found very poor.

Advantages: A bit better than my previous bulbs.

Disadvantages: Expensive and not brilliant in a projector lens headlight.

I bought these bulbs as their website said that they were compatible with my car, after entering my car registration. These bulbs were listed as compatible for my car, and even the saleswoman I spoke with assured me that they were a match for my car. This turned out to be incorrect, so I spent time and effort trying to fit bulbs that were not compatible. So my advice to you is, don't trust the registration match facility on the website, as it will tell you that bulbs are a match for your car, when this is not true.

One of the ballasts failed on my High beam headlights so I decided to replace with the most powerful LEDs I could find!

Advantages: These are as close as you can get to Xenon! No ballast box required. Instant on.

Disadvantages: Nightmare fitting to my Mercedes SLK R171 Bi-xenon! None of the adapters that ABD and Philips suggested would fit the recess. Go on Amazon and search BMW E39 LED adapter ring and that should fit ok. Worth the effort!

Ford Transit Custom MS-RT - Easy to fit - you do need the canbus resistors though otherwise you'll have all sorts of warnings on your dashboard. Fitted these lights thinking they were going to be amazing, but they are relatively average... and I kinda wish id saved some pounds and gone for a HID kit instead....
The light doesn't stretch very far, for example, if there is a car in front of you, unless you are in its boot, no light pattern appears on the back of it. The LED's cast a shadow directly in front of the van, its literally black down there in a weird shape pattern.. In all i don't think they are worth the £140 (inc canbus) I just don't think the technology is there yet.

Advantages: They are better than the original bulbs
They are a modern cool colour
Super easy to fit


Disadvantages: Shadows on the ground
Brighter than original bulbs but not that bright
Very expensive

Install myself other than my hands being too big, they were straightforward. The difference was like Knight and Day. The only issue I had was the warning light kept coming up saying I had no lighting so I then had to order the little processors from you guys we sorted the problem

Advantages: The difference in brightness was incredible and such an easy install

Much improved over standard Volvo P3 V70 halogen bulbs, can actually see at night, especially after driving my wife’s Nissan QQ with LED as standard. Downside was they gave a CANBUS error on my V70, easily corrected with the Philips over the counter CANBUS resistor kit for under £30. Bit disappointed got the error as never had any problems with Twenty20 LEDs

Advantages: Very much better lighting than standard halogen
Excellent light pattern
No dazzling of other drivers

Disadvantages: CANBUS error which had to be corrected with a Philips CANBUS kit. V70 has plenty of room to fit these but others might not be so lucky and an extra £30 on top of a high price item.

The project to remove the existing halogen headlight bulbs and replace them with Philips Pro9100 LED’s should have been a simple task. This turned into a full strip down! Instead of taking an hour it took me the best part of two weeks. Having to research the correct fittings, wait for new parts, which I must say ABD were very helpful with, then finding out that the bulbs were NOT Cambus compatible was a nightmare.

Advantages: The lights and hence the night driving experience has been enhanced 100%. The Philips Pro9100 LED’s are incredible over the original halogen bulbs. It really is the difference between night and day.

Disadvantages: The Philips Pro9100 LED’s do not fit a 2012 BMW 520d F10 as indicated in the fitting leaflet. In fact it took two attempts to identify the type of fitting which would be compatible and even then they had to be modified to accept the new LED bulb. Additionally, there is no way that these bulbs can be fitted in situ. The front bumper, the inner wing lining and the headlight have to be removed to gain access.. Also, they were not Cambus compatible. The only option was to fit resistors in parallel which removed the dashboard headlamp failure warning lights. This is not a job for the amateur DIY guy.

Great bulbs, however they’re not legal to be used on roads/ public highways. I wish that information was published on the description and not in the technical section. Loads brighter than my original bulbs, however I’ll have to change them back so as not to fail my MOT. Apparently all LED’s fitted aftermarket have this issue!

Advantages: Brightness, ease of fitting

Disadvantages: Not legally allowed on public highway/ road and MOT failure
