Ring Digital Tyre Keyring Gauge

It's got all the features mentioned in reviews and I had high expectations, but was very disappointed to find that when you push it onto the car tyre valve the force needed to get it to work is excessive. I'm a reasonably strong man and had to use 2 hands pushing as hard as possible to get it to take a reading.
It felt like you were in danger of damaging the valve or pressure gauge. Maybe I've just got a faulty one. I will be contacting ABD to see if they can resolve this for me.

Advantages: Small size, various units of measurement, a integrated light, keeps reading long enough to read

Disadvantages: Excessive pressure needed to activate

Advantages: Easy to read, easy to change between your preferred measure.

Disadvantages: Can be tricky to get a seal although this could be down to the valve.

I did need to ring to check details. The lady I spoke to was very helpful and knowledgeable. The item arrived quickly. It is slightly smaller than expected but is very useful.

I really wanted this. Read the reviews. But not matter how I tried it would not create the pressure needed to read PSI. Had to return. ABD were brilliant very understanding & professional. Will definitely be buying other items for for Car from them (saved to my contacts)

I selected this product following a review in one of the leading car mags which gave it top billing. Its easy to use and very accurate.

Advantages: Together with the Ring tyre inflator it means I don't have to mess about on petrol forecourts or rely on their gauges which are notoriously in accurate.

Disadvantages: Can't think of any. This is a good product and ABD are an excellent on-line shop.

Good small (palm sized) tyre gauge. It's accurate, I've checked it against my bigger digital gauge that is accurate. Not clear from the pictures, but the gauge sensor is on the pointed end of the unit set at a very slight angle. So it works by pressing it almost straight onto the tyre valve, suiting some tyres/vehicles not others. It would go on a key ring, as designed ,if so desired, its that dinky. Has a useful little torch light on the pointy end. If you want a competent small pocket sized type gauge, look no further. At ABD prices, very good value for quality kit.

Advantages: Accurate. I use psi but it has a switchable readout. The readout panel is back-lit so is easy to read. Handy small item, pocket/palm sized. Works straight onto the tyre valve, good if you want that.

Disadvantages: Wouldn't suit a tyre valve that required a pressure gauge accessed from the side (works straight onto valve only)
